The Ranch at Fossil Creek

The Ranch at Fossil Creek is located in the beautiful mountain setting of Strawberry, Arizona. We are a working ranch and raise llamas and dairy goats.

This is also the home of Fossil Creek Creamery, where we make and sell delicious and healthy artisan goat's milk cheeses and fudge.

Creamery store open to purchase products. All other visitors - there is an entrance fee of $3.00 per person or $10.00 per carload (children under 5 yrs. free) which includes self-guided tour, play with baby goats and cheese and fudge sampling.

We also offer reservations for a guided tour of our working llama and goat ranch, play with the animals, tour the creamery, and sample our artisan goat milk cheeses and fudges. You'll learn a lot about the llama, uses for llama wool, and about the benefits and delicious special taste of goats milk. (Reservations suggested).

Large group and school tours are available any day by appointment -call (928) 476-5178 for scheduling.

Hiking with Llamas

Half day hikes through these beautiful wooded mountains, while the llamas carry your packs and equipment. A healthy lunch is provided. (Reservations required)

Be the first in your crowd to spend a night sleeping in a yurt. You'll spend the night in your own sleeping bag in the yurt and then rise the next day for a breath-taking hike through the Arizona mountains with the llamas trekking alongside. It's an unforgettable experience!
